For those on iOS 8, please hold on and not run the 8.0.1 patch that Apple just pushed. It has been reported that it is causing serious grief causing these issues:

iOS 8 is being adopted quite quickly on iPhone 5 – (about 20% now and as long as you have 1GB space for download and approximately 5GB space for install). As usual, the updates will come quickly to Apple devices but as of right now, iOS 7 is still the most used version. Will keep you guys posted after a month or so.

What defines a great User Experience design? In one short sentence, it is “whether it simply works or it simply does not.” Many iPhone users are loyal to their devices simply because they feel that it works. While some pundits may bemoan using two hands and the ever-so-slight fragmentation that will inevitably occur due to the different resolutions between the 4.7″ and 5.5″ variants – it remains to be seen if it will be enough to topple the UX of iPhone. Perhaps a closer look should be paid on the exact feature that makes iPhone UX such a firm favorite among Apple users.

I would think that U2 wouldn’t really want to brag that they have “the largest album release ever” when it was an auto (forced) download to every iTunes account. That’s just bullshit. But then again, they are U2 – they don’t really care, do they?

A lot of people assume that I am anti-Apple. No I am not. Never was. I am though not ashamed to say, pro Google.

A big chunk of my life is spent online – consuming information. Emails, useless information, social media – non stop endless streams of media. It is an addiction, definitely but it is also a tool.

So Google Hangouts get Voice (VoIP) when we thought it was on it’s way out. Amit Fulay, Google’s product manager of Hangouts : “We want to emphasize people. The mode you use simply depends on the urgency level. We have text, video and voice. But that’s not where you start; you start with the person.”. If that’s where you are heading #Google, that’s great news for us the consumers.

If you have not realised it yet. The internet is slow-on purpose – today. Why? Because we are on protest for an open internet. US, you are getting way too bureaucratic and have obviously lost your way. You still have a chance to get your act back together before it’s too late. Let’s not let the almighty dollar ruin the original intent of the Internet.
